FEBS Congress Hinari B scheme
The HINARI initiative was set up by the World Health Organization and major publishers to enable developing countries to access collections of biomedical and health literature.
To encourage participation of scientists from HINARI B countries in the Congress, FEBS provides a 50% reduction in the early bird registration fee of members of the following FEBS Constituent Societies:
- Association of Armenian Biochemists
- Association of Biochemists and Molecular Biologists in Bosnia and Herzegovina
- Association of Georgian Biochemists
- Ukrainian Biochemical Society
Proofs of membership must be provided during registration. Travel and accommodation expenses will not be covered.
Those eligible for the 50% registration fee discount are scientists who are resident (studying/working) in Armenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Georgia or Ukraine and are members of one of the FEBS Constituent Societies mentioned above, and who submit an abstract to the Congress as first author.
There is a specific budgeted financial support, so applicants are encouraged to register as soon as possible. The reduction will be offered on a first come first served basis.
Journals from FEBS: FEBS has twin commitments to high-quality publications and the promotion of molecular biosciences. As a charitable academic organization, FEBS uses income from the journals to fund its diverse activities, including support for the FEBS Congress.
IFCC: IFCC auspices have been given to this event.
